Jewelry first came to life 25,000 years back when it was worn as a symbol of achievement and to attract good luck. Although, they were mostly pieces of horns, bones, claws and stones, every piece was meaningful and personal to the wearer. It could be a gift to symbolise love and dedication or a souvenir of victory. Marianna Mäkelä revisited that meaningful tradition and sense of identity and reinvented it as a minimalist, modern-day jewelry collection.
